Chilli Hot Chocolate
For a rich, decadent drink, try this creamy, luscious Chilli hot chocolate recipe. Spiced with cinnamon and a pinch of cayenne pepper (or more if desired).
Ingredients
- 3 Cups Whole Milk (or diary free if preferred)
- 3 Tbsp Hot Chocolate
- 3 Tbsp Sugar
- 1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- Pinch (or 2) of Cayenne Pepper
- 100g Dark Chocolate, Chopped
- Whipped Cream, Marshmallows or Grated Chocolate to Serve
Method
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together the milk, hot chocolate, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and cayenne.
- Place over medium heat occasionally stirring until steaming, about 5 minutes (do not boil).
- Add the chocolate and stir until melted and smooth.
- Serve topped with whipped cream, marshmallows or grated chocolate (or all three).
