About Ginseng Oolong

Ginseng Oolong is a flavoured oolong tea that combines the rich and complex flavours of oolong with the earthy, sweet, and slightly bitter taste of ginseng root. This unique blend offers a well-balanced infusion with the mellow characteristics of oolong and the invigorating qualities of ginseng.

Ginseng, a medicinal herb known for its adaptogenic properties, is added to the oolong tea to infuse its unique flavour. The ginseng used is finely ground powder, to ensure its even distribution throughout the blend.

Ginseng Oolong offers a harmonious combination of the natural oolong flavours and the earthy, sweet, and slightly bitter taste of ginseng. The result is a tea that is both smooth and invigorating, with a well-balanced flavour profile.

The aroma of Ginseng Oolong is characterized by the natural fragrance of the oolong tea, which can range from floral to roasted notes, combined with the distinct earthy scent of ginseng. The aroma contributes to the overall sensory experience.

The brewed liquor of Ginseng Oolong can vary in colour, depending on the length of brew used. It may range from a light golden hue to a deeper amber, influenced by the oxidation level and processing of the oolong.

Oolong tea contains moderate caffeine levels, providing a moderate energy boost. The addition of ginseng does not significantly alter the overall caffeine content.

Ginseng Oolong can be enjoyed both hot and cold. It is often served plain, without the need for sweeteners or milk, to fully appreciate the natural flavours of the tea and ginseng.

The blend retains potential health benefits associated with both oolong tea and ginseng. Oolong tea is rich in antioxidants and polyphenols, while ginseng is traditionally believed to have adaptogenic and energizing properties.
