Our Organic Turmeric & Ginger is made from only certified organic turmeric root and pure organic ginger for a spicy and aromatic cup that is ideal for adding a bit of pep and vigor into one's day.

Turmeric is famed for its health benefits and used by many as an anti-inflammatory, digestive and antioxidant. We have selected the finest organic cut of this popular spice in order to fully develop flavour whilst maintaining clarity.

When brewed, turmeric & ginger is strongly spicy, peppery and warm with a distinct ginger flavour and produces a dark orange liquor. Honey can be added to taste, or a pinch of pepper is said to improve its molecular absorption into the body.

Curcuma longa or turmeric is well known for its yellow pigmant curcumin which is a powerful antioxidant; and turmerone which is believed to have neuroprotective qualities. It also contains Vitamin C, Vitamins E, K, B6, B9 (folate), niacin, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus and calcium.

Ginger (zingiber officinale) is well-known and long-used digestive from the same family as turmeric. It is packed with Vitamins C, B6, B9, iron, zinc, potassium, magnesium, phosphorous and calcium.

There is significant research to suggest that consuming these compounds and molecules can have a positive affect on a number of issues and ailments to varying degrees, dependent on a range of factors.

Some of the notable benefits; as well as ailments and issues that are said to be somewhat relieved (or at least positively influenced by) the nutrients in Turmeric and in Ginger are:

To Enjoy

Place 1 heaped teaspoon per cup into an infuser, filter or teapot. Add freshly boiled water and infuse for 4 minutes. May be enjoyed with honey taste.
